Pics are from top to bottom, text for a pic is under the pic, click on a pic for a larger pic....

14th Annual San Mateo Flag Day Run!! My first poker run.... I asked Jake... Is this as much fun as I think? Of course, he said NO!!! and told me the rules!! Thank you Jake for keeping me straight!!! GBG

So we had Jake and his boy, sorry about names... sigh.., Georgie, Audie, Cheryl, Gary, Sandy, our new member John!!!, AND AL COOK AND WIFE (names again, sigh) showed up !!!! Good to see you Al!!!!!!!! Come visit some time!!! GBG And yes the Cranky dude!!! Hope I didn't forget any names... the memory thing... oh look, there goes a squirrel!!!... GBG

People everywhere!!! GAZILLIONS!! I got one of the last of 300 pins! Whew! Otherwise it would'a cost me the 20 bucks I offered!! GBG Al gave me a shuttle launch pin from the return to space after the shuttle crash, will wear it proudly! Thanks Al!!! Did I say come around more often!!!???

Our newest member John by Goldie, my scoot...

Bike, bikes every where, musta been over 500...

Did I say bikes???

Our first stop was at GGNC - Golden Gate National Cemetery, and we circled the mound for a Flag Day ceremony...

Bikes everywhere, Goldie on the left..

They circled as far as you could see... Some of my friends may know that I'm claustrophobic....

The speakers podium was set up to address the hill! Not the parking lot! Interesting.

Off we went in groups of 50 to our first poker stop in Pacifica.... Gary asked me if I'd just like to skip the poker stops and go to the lunch place...... I hesitantly said..... YYYYEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!
Did I say I was ..... yeah, don't like crowds... GBG

So now a new experience in my scoot riding, going down forest trails and parking in the redwood trees!!! Back on paths meant for animals!!! Course, we fit right in.... GBG

I used to run Honda 90's up and down deer trails, so not too bad... but the bikes were a tad different...

Gotta hand it to 'um! They did a bang up job! Absolutely gorgeous setting!!! Fantastically beautiful! And they promised there would be no lack of food.... Just 15 minutes late in cooking!! GBG We managed to hold out.

Who'da' thought Harley's parking in the trees!!! GBG

The lunch area, there were two lunch lines, don't know why they did that, as they both met and there was one food line. But by golly it worked!!! We all got fed and had a great time!

John and I decided to leave, so he followed me out, as we both thought I knew where we were going... God help us both!! But we made it!! GBB

A sad note, as we were going up the hill... there was an accident, a bike went over the edge of the hill.. it was a peddle bike, but a bike is a bike. My 'nic Cranky comes from cranking a bike...

JAKE!!!!!!! Thanks for talking this up!!! I gotta tell you, gaggle rides ain't my thing, but while at the lunch site, I met DOZENS of folks that I've met on PGR missions!!!

And I want to thank all that attended!!! Your being there made it a GREAT day for me!!!

This group of folks support PGR and our troops!! God Bless 'um all, and our troops!!!
And God Bless America on Flag Day!!!!
